I have had sleep troubles for as long as I can remember. It takes me forever to fall asleep and when I do sleep, I wake up at the drop of a pin. On a regular night I typically get up at least 2-3 times. A lot of my sleep issues stems from anxiety, which I have medicine for that does help, but sometimes leaves you feeling like a zombie or groggy the next day.
I have always been a coffee lover and that probably doesn't help my sleep issues. I recently got a Keurig and found some compatible tea pods for it. You can also just use the hot water and that is how I have been making this tea. I received a tea mug with a lid for Christmas a few years ago and never really used it until I started my Tea kick. It's great for steeping tea. I usually use one bag, put the lid and it let it sit for 5-7 minutes. This tea doesn't really need any sweetener since it has a very nice flavor, but I always like things with a lightly sweet taste so I add a little bit of honey to this. This tea is not going to knock you out like you got roofied, but it will put you in a more relaxed state and make it easier to fall asleep. It's a great to sip while you are unwinding for bed or even if you have just had a stressful day and want to relax a bit. I have been drinking it the last few weeks before bed and it helps me unwind a bit and fall asleep easier. I am a big fan of chamomile and ginger teas,: this has a great flavor. I was worried that I wouldn't like it because of the spearmint, but I really could not taste it at all.
