I have quite a few portable power chargers that I rotate between when I know I will be without access to an outlet. I am admittedly a Facebook addict and my phone is always dead because of it. I really would like to blame my phone, but it is a fairly new Galaxy s7 and if I am not Facebooking it actually does hold a charge well. I have a nice power bank that can charge 3 devices at once, but I have to take my "big" purse if I have to carry it. I have neck and shoulder problems so anything I can do to lighten the load I have to carry is a plus.
The Q-Swap Mobile Power Charger is tiny compared to my others. It weighs in at 5.1oz and measures and is half the size of other similar chargers I use. It came in very nice packaging with a nice pouch to carry the charger in. The best feature about this product is that is comes with 2 5200 mAH batteries that you swap back and forth between. While using one to charge your phone you can have the other battery charging and ready to go. It is powered with a Lithium-ion battery and put our 2.1 amps. The Q-Swap Power Charger easily snaps in and out of the housing and is very simple to use. It has one spot for charging the battery when it is removed from the housing, one spot for a USB charging cord and a power indicator light. To display the power light, just tap the top left hand side of the battery and it lights up. It has 3 colors, green indicates its charge is between 40% to 100%, orange for 5% to 40% and red to show it is less than 5%. It takes about 30 minutes to charge each battery and you can charge a device numerous times on the same battery before switching. I charged my phone last night while I was playing a game on my phone and wasn't close enough to the outlet to charge my phone without bending the cord. Then I used it again just a little bit ago to charge my phone and the battery light is still showing green. Unlike some chargers where the USB port faces up, this one faces sideways on the housing to protect your cord from damage, which is great for me since I am bad about ruining cords. It's a very simple, there isn't much to it, which is kind of the point. Besides me being on Facebook, we like to play Pokémon with our nieces which is a big battery drainer. I have a Galaxy tablet the girls like to play on in the car, but the car charger does not work on it. I get a red x over the battery indicator. I can use the Q-Swap charger on it and it works just fine, it also works on my nieces iPads too. It comes with a micro USB to USB cord that you can use to charge the battery or to charge your device with. It will work on any device that uses a USB port for charging, I just use their charging cord and plug it into the USB port. If you need more backup power you could buy two and the batteries would be interchangeable. It's very sleek and small enough to fit in your pocket or handbag. Not only have do I take it with me when I need portable power, but I probably have used it more at home than anything just when I am sitting somewhere I can't easily access my cord. I would recommend this power charger for anyone who is one the go, travels, goes camping or to events where you can't charge your device. My husband has even used it charge his e-cigarette. You can get yours here!
I received this at a discount for my honest and unbiased opinion.
