This is the first time I have ever used a hot glue gun, I saw my mom use them a lot when I was a kid and figured it would be easy to figure out.
The Attican Black Iron Tools Hot Glue Gun is 110v to 240v and is 20w. It comes with the glue gun, a metal stand to lean on when in use and it came with 5/16" or .28 in diameter hot glue sticks. I was trying to find a something to demonstrate how well it works and I have this cute little owl trivet that my mom gave me. It was missing the rubber pieces to keep it from scratching the surface of my stove or moving around, I thought we could cover it with hot glue in their place. The Black Iron Tools Hot Glue Gun only takes a few minutes to warm up and is super easy to use. You just insert a glue stick and give a minute to warm up and you are ready to use it. I would suggest practicing on a surface that won't be damaged by the hot glue before you begin your project so that you get an idea of how the glue flows. I just used one of my plastic cutting boards to protect my kitchen counter. It was very easy, I barely had to apply pressure to the trigger to get the right amount to come out and I didn't end up with w mess anywhere. The only thing I need to work on is when I am done applying and removing the hot glue gun the tiny strings of plastic that can be left when you pull away. They were easy to remove and by the forth one I was a pro lol. The glue dried in less than a minute and it works very well to keep the trivet in place and keep my stove top scratch free.
