I have had acne and oily skin since I was a teenager. I don't get breakouts like I did when I was young, but even at 39 I still have oily skin, especially my T-zone. I have tried many powders and have only found a handful of them that actually help control the shine that is usually present an hour after I do my makeup. I tend to use the loose translucent powders, they seem to work well with my skin and don't accentuate my fine lines. The Professional Translucent Loose Setting Powder by Ruoxi is a very light setting powder and I love the little compact it comes in. I don't any of my other setting powders came with a mirror, so I loved it, one less thing I have to carry in my purse. It comes with a puff to apply the powder, which I do usem but I usually prefer to use a brush instead. The puff is great for touch ups, this powder does an excellent job at keeping my skin matte so I really don't have to reapply often when I wear it. I usually apply my foundation and let it set for a couple minutes before applying the setting powder.
I have fairly sensitive skin and this didn't clog my pores or irritate me at all. The powder I received comes in the shade Light Beige #2, it says that is for darker complexions who want a healthy soft wheat complexion. I have fair skin that does get tan in the summer, but for the most part I use pretty light or translucent powder. This powder works perfect on my skin tone, so use the color guide with your own discretion. I love the powder though and I am glad the color worked out for me. It really adds a matte touch to your face and it is my new favorite powder.
